Dr. Dan Hernandez, Doctor of Physical Therapy, combines over a decade of service in the U.S. Marine Corps with years of experience as a Devil Pup instructor (a youth leadership program) to help developing athletes unlock their full potential. His background in elite military training and youth development validates his ability to coach, challenge, and guide athletes of all levels. Dr. Dan’s system has helped youth, college, and pro athletes unlock their full potential and is now looking to help across the lower valley and Tri-Cities.
"I want my child to become more athletic and get faster, but it seems like none of the coaches actually teach that or know how to help."
"My kid isn’t the star player, and it feels like they’re being overlooked. They’re starting to lose confidence, and I’m afraid they’ll stop playing the sport they used to love."
"My child is one of the top players, but it feels like they're being pushed too hard without proper care—I'm worried about injuries that no one seems to take seriously.
Don't worry, we can help!
We train your child’s brain and body to work together, so strong, safe movements become second nature—automatic and instinctive.
Your child will build real agility—learning to move quickly and stay in control, even in fast, busy situations.
Your child will learn how to explode into motion and run with top speed using proper form.
Your child will be in an environment that pushes them to grow, encourages teamwork, and builds a love for progress.
Agility
The ability to change direction quickly and stay balanced. Helps athletes cut, dodge, and move smoothly in any sport.
Acceleration
The ability to push forcefully into the ground and “punch” it away to create powerful forward movement. It helps athletes explode off the line or make a fast break.
Top Speed Mechanics
How the body moves when sprinting at full speed. Good form helps athletes run faster, more efficiently, and safely.
Reaction Time
How quickly an athlete sees and responds to a movement, sound, or action. Crucial for decision-making and fast play.
Injury Prevention
Training smart to stay physically healthy. Focuses on movement quality, muscle balance, and avoiding overuse or bad form.
Team Culture
Building team unity and shared growth through challenging training that brings athletes together.
Volleyball

"...my son has become far more coordinated; his physical movement and presence has become more deliberate, strong and agile. His running form has refined, leading to increased speed and acceleration. I’ve had several people note the physical transformation and increased confidence."
- Dori Rhynalds
My daughter has had the opportunity to work with Dr. Dan for almost two years. My daughter had participated in generalized strength training with minimal results. After her tailored workouts with Dan, she was more confident in her abilities as an athlete and felt that the exercises helped her perform better in her sport."
- Amber Humpherys
"Dr. Dan has transformed my daughter from a struggling runner to a successful athlete. She has always struggled with coordination, posture and form. When she began running, these challenges were holding her back from progressing. Dr. Dan identified each issue, created a program for her, and has made great strides this season and has captured the attention of her coaches as she continues to find success. She is now a confident runner who looks forward to continued progress. ."

Acceleration
Agility
Top speed mechanics
Reaction time
Confidence and coordination
Absolutely — you're welcome to stay and observe! We encourage it so you can see your child’s progress firsthand.
We only ask to ensure you keep a safe distance away in order to not interfere with dynamic activities.
Each session is about 2–3 hours, including warm-up, skill development, performance drills, and recovery.
This training benefits athletes in all sports, especially those that require speed, agility, and quick thinking — such as football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, and track.
Any other sport that requires an individual to move and change directions in their sport, will HIGHLY benefit from this summer.
Will younger kids be training alongside older teens?
Nope! Athletes are grouped by age and ability to make sure everyone trains at the right pace and challenge level.
